Tournament Committee Mission Statement

  • Identify and document all requirements necessary to ensure the successful organization and operation of each tournament, including logistics, scheduling, equipment, and volunteer support.
  • Collaborate with the Board in the selection of team captains and team rosters.
  • Liaise with members who volunteer to assist.
  • Provide information to all members to register for participation in competition/events including collaboration with the Board to create the marketing information for each tournament that will be provided to club participants (I.e.: email notification, SignUpGenius).
  • Manage the committee’s allocated budget responsibly, ensuring that all expenses are approved, documented, and submitted for reimbursement in accordance with club financial procedures.
  • Submit original receipts or invoices for approved activity expenses to the Treasurer within seven (7) days of purchase for reimbursement.
